"You won't believe me even if told you."

It was a story that I wanted to tell from start to end. But he was just a kid. I left out the details regarding my time in the battlefield or the butchery I've done just to remove loose ends. But in a nutshell, I was experimented on by the Russians. Alien genes latched into my own which gave my current powers. In a secret operation, the Americans found me.
It was another long story about how they convince me to be their dog. In my years, I killed for them and even massacred innocents just to satisfy their "peaceful" solutions. In the end, I grew tired of that shit and ran away.
I was a key asset for their wet dreams of war. They can't just set me free. Like the cocksuckers that they are, the US government formed a group whose sole duty is to catch me. They asked other countries for help under the guise of protecting the world against Bio-Terrorism. And now, I'm here. In a desolate town with barely any biomass at my hands.
"Unbelievable."
"See? I knew you wouldn't believe it."
"I meant it as an expression. But really, that sounds like a Sci-fi story."
"Sci-fi wha?"
"Science Fiction. I'm basically a nerd buff of the subject. So enough about me. How about you. What can you do?"
"What can I do? I could regenerate my whole body from a single cell. I can jump as high as buildings and run faster than cars. I also have these tentacles."
One tentacle grew from my back and curled around my arms.
"This one is Uno. I have five other tentacles but I can't get them out right now."
"Why?"
"I need to eat. You won't probably like this one but I eat people."
"Are you going to eat me?"
"If you snitched me to the police, I will. But I will cut your limbs first. As Slow and as painful as possible. Then I will crack your head while you're still conscious and absorb your still thinking brain. But I don't think that you'd be a satisfying meal."
"I... Uhhhh... That's a bit too specific... And I think I just shat my pants."
He sat beside me and offered me a glass of water. I promptly drank it all before drinking another one.
"So do you have other abilities?"
"I can shift my form into people I ate."
I focused inside me. Millions of different DNA inside me materializes. I choose one and the changes begin. Small tentacles, a lot smaller than Uno, wrapped around my skin and flushed my body with enzymes. Each of my cell is radically changed from the molecular level. My muscles shifted form and my bones shortened. My hair grew short and changed into dirty blonde. The tentacles subsided and my new form burst forth.
"Syria, 1972. This body's name is Yaman. He was born a beggar and died like one. He was caught in a cross fire between me and B.E.G. So I gave him peace inside me."
Phil was silent. I don't know if it's amazement or sadness for the tale I told.
"I uhhh... you're naked."
Oh. That.
Tentacles thinner than before formed lattices and meshed together to form cloth. A jacket and similar fitting pants finished my look. I looked far from the bare bone corpse that I absorbed in Syria.
"So what's your plan now?"
"My main goal is to escape B.E.G."
"After that?"
"I don't know. Wherever fate drags me I guess. But right now, I need to rest. Lie low for a while before I make my move."
"You can stay here for a while. This house ain't much but I'll help you in any way I can."
"Why do you do this?"
"What do you mean?"
"This? Helping out a complete stranger."
"That's what I am I guess. Now rest, while I prepare dinner."
