Jack groggily returned home from his evening classes on a Friday night. He was depressed. He recently broke up with his boyfriend, was failing a few classes, and had a falling out with some friends.
His roommate Sam sat on the couch, snoring loudly. Sam was beautiful. He sat there with his bare chest exposing his fit muscular form. Jack wanted to just go over there and feel him over, but Sam was straight, and wouldn’t appreciate that.
Jack sighed and made his way to his room. He didn’t bother with a shower, and hopped into bed. Opening his phone, he had received an email.
‘From TransDem Laboratories, we thank you for your willingness to test our new product. The link to the download is right beneath this.”
Jack had nothing to lose. He didn’t care if it infected his phone.
The download process began, and an app appeared on his home screen. It was labeled “Editora.”
Jack entered the app, and was greeted by a tutorial to set up a profile. This must be a social media site, he thought to himself.
Jack entered his name and important information. After his was finished, he cane to a screen with a + in the top right hand corner, and a list with only his name on it.
He hit the + and two options came up. Create New Person and Create Existing Person.
Jack hit the latter, and options for the persons information appeared. He entered Sam’s info. Now, the list returned with two peoples names.
This was all fine and dandy, but somewhat boring. He and Sam were not the most interesting people. If people were going to see these profiles, he had to spice things up.
Jack first enter his own profile. There was an option to add a photo, as well as a search bar to apparently search descriptive measures that one had. Jack searched online for a fun image that he could use. He found an image of someone online sitting in the grass with barely anything on. After uploading it, he received a pop-up that asked him when he wore this. Options ranged from “To Bed” to “The only thing I wear.”
Jack picked the latter option, and continued. Jack saved and moved on to Sam. For Sam, he chose descriptions. He made him gay and made him Jack’s boyfriend.
Jack saved and felt a wave of fatigue wash over him. He looked at the clock as his vision blurred. He set his phone down and passed out.
