The duo met up by a tall redwood tree, resting against it with a few friendly laughs.
"Finally, we're out of there..." Margaret said.
"No more people trying to breed us..." Colin said.
"Peace at last..." Margaret said.
The laughter was stopped by a stomach rumble, a LOUD stomach rumble.
"Kinda wish we had something to eat, though." the gamer said.
"I'm sure we can forage something around here...." Margaret told him.
The two stayed close as they began digging through the bushes and turning rocks over.
They loosened tree bark, examined bushes, but didn't find much beyond a few grubs.
They could try and hunt, but they left their weaponry back at the house.
Colin and Margaret tried, they really did, but they gagged and spat the crawly bugs back up.
"That was awful!" Colin winced.
"It's going to be fine... there's plenty of life in a forest, I'm sure we'll fine something to eat." Margaret said confidently.
***************** Three Days Later *****************
Colin flopped out over a rock, his stomach roaring with hunger.
"There has to be something out here!" Colin moaned in dismay.
"We just have to keep looking!" Margaret yelled out.
Suddenly, Colin began sniffing the air.
"I smell something... turkey.... provolone... tomato... A SANDWICH! I'M SAVED!" Colin cried out as he ran into the woods.
"Wait for me!" Margaret called out.
They ran through the bramble and down the side of a small cliff until Colin stopped at a backpack.
He flung things around until he saw it: a sandwich somebody left out on a rock.
"Finally! Fooooooood!" Colin cried out as he began biting into a sandwich covered in a film of mold and strange looking mushrooms.
Margaret looked on in concern, thinking 'I have to get him to stop, who know what those fungi contai-'
Her stomach growled violently and she said "SAVE SOME FOR ME!"
They tore into the more-than-questionably rotten sub like starving raccoons.
They sat there satiated, sighing in relief as a rainbow filled the sky.
"Hey, does somethin' look off with the sky?" Colin asked as Margaret watched his lips stretch out into a duck bill.
"Hehehe.... you look funny!" Margaret chuckled as her ears became elephant sized.
"Naw, yoooooou loook funny!" Colin said as he pointed at her, his finger stretching into an arrow. "Ain't that right, Unipug?"
"Rou Ret Rah!" the giant, one horned, neon pink pug replied, laughing with a "Reeheeheehee!"
The three of them laughed and Colin and Margaret continued to morph.
Margaret stretched and squashed her neck like an accordion.
Colin waved around as four extra arms came out of his back.
The two morphed their faces and made stupid sounds, laughing themselves silly.
A third party followed the sound of laughing and came across the two spinning and stumbling around, their pupils expanded to the point where you could barely make out their eye color.
