Andre was a little uncertain with how well he would get along with Melissa. She seemed like a nice girl, but his experience with girls has been a bit...jaded lately. Yes, the Animalian virus interacting with his CAH did give him a very impressive body and a very long penis, reptilian or not. But he still had a little overabundance of testosterone, which means it didn't take a lot of effort to make him 'pop out'. And there have been a lot of girls who have been exploiting his 'hair trigger' and acting very inappropriately around him. For all Andre knew, Melissa was just another in a long line of such girls.
His attitude softened a little when he met Melissa in person. He had to admit, she was pretty cute. She kept her hair boyishly short, which made it less of a hassle when she used to motorcycle and she still liked it that way. Her body was slender, but not curveless. Melissa had been careful not to get carried away with her snacking since she had been put into her wheelchair. Andre tried to not stare at her legs which abruptly ended at the knees.
Melissa rolled her wheelchair over to Andre and said, "Andre, wow, didn't think you'd tower over me that much."
"Yeah, I guess the webcams don't allow you to really grasp the other person's height," said Andre.
"Yeah, that's true," said Melissa, "Uh, before anything else, I wanted to apologize."
"You apologize?" asked Andre.
"Well, I may have come on a little strong when we first talked online," said Melissa.
"You mean about your Argonian fantasy?" asked Andre. He had taken the time to research Argonians, particularly what may be pertaining to Melissa's fantasies.
Melissa blushed and said, "I really wish that guy didn't tell you before we talked. I really didn't want you to think of me as just a girl who wants to live out her fantasy."
"Well, I don't really mind the fantasy that much," said Andre, "I just hoped you were only trying to get in my pants."
"I'm not that kind of girl," said Melissa, a little hotly, "I'm certainly more loyal than my last boyfriend."
"Whoa, whoa, I didn't mean it that personally," said Andre.
Melissa sighed and said, "No, it's perfectly understandable why you'd assume that."
Andre rubbed the back of his neck nervously before saying, "So...you wanna look around Animalia?"
"It's probably better than just reading about it," said Melissa.

Some time later, Melissa revealed what had happened with her ex-boyfriend. "He really loved motorcycles, just as much as me," said Melissa, "He gave me this helmet as a get-well-soon present. Well, until it turned out I wasn't going to get well."
"Was it really that bad?" asked Andre.
"My knees were a complete mess," said Melissa, "Not to mention my nerves got sliced up. It was pretty obvious I was never going to walk again, not as a human anyways. Then it turned out my ex loved motorbikes a little more than he loved me. Went and found himself another biker babe."
"So...why bring the helmet then?" asked Andre.
"Well, I'm not completely soured over motorbikes yet," said Melissa, "I'd like to see if I can ride one after I've converted. I don't think I'll get too big, though I might need to keep my tail from dragging."
"That helmet might not fit you afterwards," said Andre.
"Maybe. I want to see if it will. I mean, it's still a good helmet. But if I can't wear it, I'll just get a customized one," said Melissa, "I mean they're making customized cars for Animalians, why not motorcycles and helmets to match?"
"I can think of some Animalians too big for a motorbike," said Andre.
"Not a regular sized one," said Melissa, "What about a really big hog?"
A passing pig Animalian paused and said, "Excuse me?"
"I mean 'hog' as in motorcycle," said Melissa.
"Oh, ok," said the pig before walking on.
"Word of advice: watch what kind of metaphors you use," said Andre.
"Anything else to show me around here?" asked Melissa.
"Plenty," said Andre.
