"Let go, Bill!" cried Kimberly angrily. "You always think everything is yours. I wish I were the older brother!"
Bill abruptly released his grip on the Grellstone and took a shocked step backwards from his sister.
Where she had stood, there was now a blurred mass of air--like a heat mirage. Slowly it coalesced into... into... a man!
Where only seconds ago, Bill's kid sister had been standing there was now a college-aged man, who looked vaguely like Kimberly... if she had been a nineteen-year old male. She was now dressed in a Budweiser t-shirt, a pair of ratty cut-offs, and flip-flops. She was taller than Bill and looked considerably more muscular as well. She sported a scruffy goatee on her rough, masculine face.
"Whoa!" she said, in a deep, masculine baritone. "I'm... I'm a dude!"
Bill gulped nervously... and felt his anxiety double when he noticed the Grellstone, still clutched in his sister's big, hairy hands. And it was still faintly glowing!
