"Let go, Bill!" snapped Kimberly angrily. "You always think everything is yours. I wish I were stronger and you were the weak one!"
Suddenly, Bill released his grip on the Grellstone. He collapsed to the pavement, sweaty and exhausted.
A triumphant Kimberly stood up, and towered over him sneering. But Kimberly now looked considerably more muscular. Although she remained a thirteen-year old girl, she now somehow had the physique of a sixteen-year old boy. Her arm and leg muscles seemed to bulge out in a peculiar way.
"Ha! You lose," she said, in a weirdly masculine tone. Her voice was still the same, but there was now a strange, muscular confidence in her voice--the edge and arrogance of a cocky teenage boy, though physically she was still a thirteen year old girl.
Bill sighed and looked down at himself. Everywhere Kimberly had gained muscle mass, he seemed to have lost it. While he was still his normal male self, he now had the stick-thin arms and legs of a middle-school girl. He felt weak, insecure, and very uncertain of himself.
"Kimberly wait," he said, in a whiny high-pitched voice. It was still Bill's voice, but it now lacked his confidence, like a big brass horn being blown by a little kid. "Th-There's something you need to now about that emerald..."
"Shut up, you little twerp," Kimberly said in a loud, but bored voice. She started to walk away from him. Bill had to scramble to catch up.
"B-B-But..." Bill stammered.
"Go away," said Kimberly. "You're such a geeky, little spaz. You're cramping my style. Get lost!"
