Bill scrambled to his feet, frantically searching for the Grellstone. Oh, no! There, in front of him, stood Rob Bolstrum -- a bully with a head full of rocks, but a year older and a lot taller and bigger than Bill.
"Oooooooo, a magic wishing stone?" laughed Rob.
Crap, thought Bill. He must've overheard everything.
"What a load," said Rob, pushing Bill to the sidewalk with one hand. His second hand still held the emerald Grellstone. "Maybe we should test out this thing. Only works when you're angry, huh? Good thing I'm always so happily pissed-off at the whole world, huh pipsqueak? Anger is practically my middle name. So let's try this thing out."
Rob kicked Bill in the gut. Bill collapsed to the sidewalk, clutching his side. Above him, Rob laughed.
"Lessee," said Rob with an angry scowl on his face. "What's a real good way to test this thing? You can be my guinea pig, Bill. I wish ..."
