“Pitiful, yet expected.”
Lilith gazed at the crystal ball stolen from Morgan LeFays shop. She had secretly returned to claim the item without telling either Circe or Baba Yaga. While the three vowed to protect Jack, in the end Lilith knew a great truth, trust no one. As she now watched Circe and Baba Yaga consort with Kellie she could only smirk.
“You would never understand,” she hissed. “And you never needed to Circe. I knew eventually you would turn against me. You think me a fool, yet even you do not know what I have planned.” Waving her hand Lilith watched as the image inside the shifted to the other timeline, a timeline that Lilith now had access to.
The only thing Circe had gotten right was the fact that Lilith was provoking the Kitsune. She had no interest in playing nice with Merlin’s daughter or the other wizards connected to them in the other timeline. She was interested in one thing and one thing only, destruction.
Lilith understood that as long as Jacks daughter and his former love existed, he would never reach his full potential. Attacking them directly would only push Jack away, she needed to eliminate them through some other means. That was where the Kitsune came in.
Lilith was well aware of the Kitsunes pension for vengeance, she had counted on it. Yes, killing Yomi was a warning but she was also throwing down the gauntlet. She wanted the Kitsune angry, she wanted to use that anger to her advantage. If she could stoke their vengeance then they would prove to be unreasonable. Attacking Hikari only stoked that flame more and opened the doorway between worlds. It was a doorway that only Lilith could access now.
“Attempt your peace proposal Circe,” Lilith whispered. “It will fail, as will your new kingdom.” Shifting the focus of the crystal ball once more she focused on Kellies friends as they talked with the anthro people that worshipped Circe. From what she could see the teens were on peaceful terms so far with them. That could easily change though, accidents happen. What would Kellie or Merlin say if something were to befall on of their friends. Yes Lilith could transform one of the teens with her magic, yet she would easily be discovered. No, Lilith would not be so foolish. She would use her powers to turn Kellies friends against Circe, create chaos and ruin any chance of peace. “Demon come forth,” Lilith bellowed.
In a swirl of flames a creature of shadow and darkness now appeared in Liliths home. The shadow demon looked at his queen, taking a knee as he awaited his command. “Yes my mistress,” it said.
“You are to infiltrate Circes kingdom,” Lilith stated. “Sabotage the peace the traitorous Circe and Baba Yaga seek.”
“It shall be done mistress,” the demon promised. As he began to rise, Lilith held up a hand causing the demon to pause. “Before you leave,” she said. “You shall need a new form.” Lilith mumbled a spell as the demon began to change.
The shadow demons form was of inky blackness, almost indescribable in appearance. The demon had no true shape, appearing vaguely humanoid with long claws and horns. As Liliths spell began to take affect the creatures features began to change. The shadow demons form began to take shape, becoming solid as it grew golden fur on its body. The head of the creature began to mold itself into a fox head, its horns decreasing in size, shifting on its head and becoming ears while a muzzle extended from its head. The demon watched with interest as it’s golden furred body began to take shape. An hourglass like figure with large breasts took shape on the creature, much to its astonishment. As the creatures form completed Lilith smiled.
“Perfect,” she grinned. “You look exactly like that fool follower of Circes Vixi.”
“What do you wish me to do mistress,” the clone Vixi asked, admiring its new form.
“Infiltrate Circes stronghold,” Lilith commanded. “Kill the creature known as Vixi and dispose of the body. Once that is done you are to sabotage the peace conference between Circe and the Kitsune. Make it clear that it is Circe, Baba Yaga, And Merlin that want war with the Kitsune, not Jack.”
“I have never failed you mistress,” the clone Vixi responded. “But won’t my ruse be discovered?”
“No,” Lilith answered. “I have masked the trace of my magic upon you. If you fail they will trace the magic back to the other timeline. It shall appear that the other timeline is attempting to destroy not only Circe but the Kitsune as well.”
“I shall not fail mistress,” the clone stated before vanishing from Liliths sight. Lilith turned once more as she focused the power of the crystal ball on Circe, Baba Yaga, And Kellie. “You have underestimated me Circe,” she hissed. “You think your self so clever. You forget I walked this world for a millennium before you even existed. You shall have no peace and no kingdom. You...like Merlin and his daughter shall fall.”
