The Paladin’s Indecision

added by Blorb006 4 years ago A I O

Issac didn’t know how long it took before he had awoke. For the first few delirious seconds, he had no memory of what happened. Then, his memory rushed back into him. Ilvir. The library. The monster chasing him. It all came back, and with it so did his panic and worry.

His paladin teachings told him to never rush or let panic consume oneself, but Issac didn’t think of that right now. Ilvir was in danger. There was no time for religious teachings. A life was in danger. Ilvir was inside there. That place. That unholy place and needed help. Help that Issac needed to provide.

It was agony lifting himself from the ground, his body was cumbersome and heavy with all its mass and his gigantic cocks and balls made it worse since even the slightest touch would cause them to become erect. Finally after a minute of struggling, Issac pushed himself up from the ground, staring at the next challenge ahead.

The door. The library door. It was there, unchanged, with its curtain of inescapable shadows blocking him from looking any deeper into what lied ahead. He wasn’t scared of it or what monsters laid within, but he was fearful of what had happened to Ilvir. Their connection had been severed, something had cut the mental bond they had. That left only a hole in his mind, one which Issac felt only a furious urge to refill it again.

Ilvir wasn’t dead. Issac didn’t consider the possibility. He would never consider it until he saw it with his own eyes. Ilvir was alive, and Issac would rescue him or die trying. There was no way he would abandon his friend. He had to go inside.

But how would he fit through? It was human sized, and even with his shapeshifting, he wouldn’t be able to fit inside without potentially damaging the stone bodies he stored within himself.

He looked down at his body and then the library door. He knew what he had to do but he didn’t want to. There was a good chance that if he left all the statues here, he might never come back again to rescue them. Even still, the time he wasted deciding would mean another second of Ilvir being in danger. He knew the reasons why he should. Losing the statues would mean his body would become faster, smaller, more nimble and a greater ability to move. Yet he didn’t want to. Doing so would mean he was abandoning them. Potentially leaving them stuck in a static state for eternity... What should he do?

After several painful seconds of indecision, Issac decided to...
