"Oh no" said Alan, shaking his head. "What's going to happen now?"
The remote's A.I had analyzed each of the Donaldson's personality traits, selecting from the wide array of comic book characters in it's database the attributes most fitting for each person.
Megan was determined as being angsty and somewhat nerdy, but ultimately a good person at heart who felt a large degree of responsibility towards her family. While Megan would sometimes feign rebelliousness, she wasn't truly one at heart, genuinely liking her parents and brother in addition to loving them. Because of this, the A.I selected her new benefactor to be that of Peter Parker, otherwise known as Spider-Man. Megan didn't know it now, but she now had the proportional strength of a spider, which meant being able to lift around ten tons of weight. She was also fifteen times faster and more agile than the average human, able to cling onto most surfaces, and had a biological early warning detection system, otherwise known as precognition or the more eponymous "spider-sense", A pair of web shooters appeared on her wrists.
Alan was determined to have a high degree of morals and honor based on the way the A.I analyzed his monogamous relationship with his girlfriend. Other attributes including Alan's diplomacy, compassion and a good sense of leadership(at least when he was playing sports or games) factored into the A.I's account. Using these facts, his benefactor was chosen to be none other than that of Wonder Woman. The superpowers bestowed upon Alan included superhuman strength, nigh invulnerability(and an accelerated healing factor for those rare cases in which he could be hurt), a much higher threshold of pain and a pair of bracelets which can deflect almost anything, all of which were granted by the goddess Demeter. From the god Hermes, Alan was also granted the ability of flight and superhuman speed. Granted by Athena, Alan was given enhanced intelligence, which also meant that he was now an empath, being able to "see" things for how they really were more clearly than the average human, and also had a rapport with animals(which meant to ability to communicate with them to a degree). From Artemis, he was granted enhanced senses(sight, smell, sound, taste and touch). He was also granted perfect muscle memory, amazonian combat skills, recall of most world languages(and the ability to mimic most human voices, whether male or female), leadership and tactical skills, and beauty. Finally, The Lasso Of Truth appeared on his belt.
Janet was determined to be a caring and loving, but perpetually bored and uninspired woman. This was taken into consideration, tabulated, and for some bizarre reason gave her Wolverine's powers. She now had an adamantium(unbreakable metal) laced skeleton, with retractable razor sharp claws coming out in between her knuckles. She was also, more importantly, granted a healing factor, which allowed her to recover instantaneously from any injury and made her virtually immortal. If you threw Janet into a lava pit, she would still survive and eventually reform enough to crawl out of there.
Steve's personality was attributed with a restless nature and a need to escape from his life, which meant that the remote determined that Steve's personality would most benefit by being given the powers of Mystique. No, his skin did not change blue, nor did he develop scales, but in all other ways he was her. Just by thinking about it, Steve could now shapeshift into any form he wished, no matter how bizarre or esoteric.
