"So what the hell does it do? I don't see any life changes" complained Steve as he looked all over his body and noticing nothing.
"I don't either" said Alan, doing the same scan over his body.
"Thank God" breathed Janet, thinking that she was about to change into something horrid, almost as if she were trapped in one of those SandySeeker transformation stories on Writing.com that she enjoyed reading so much.
"Megan, put that remote down!" barked Steve. "Let's just get out of here. This place gives me the creeps. I wouldn't want to be given the charity of whoever lives here anyway. C'mon family, lets just go sleep in the car for the night."
"But Steve!"
"We don't have a choice, Janet! Back in the car!"
The family made their way outside of the old house and back down the hill to the fence, walked over it, and went back into their car. It was still pitch black out. After Steve unlocked everyone's doors, Janet made her way inside the car first.
"At least no one broke in and took anything" said a relieved Janet.
"Don't be so sure about that" said a mysterious voice from the back seat", who reached from the back seat and held a knife to her throat.
"Ahh!"
"You're one short guy, aren't you. Did you freaks just come from a comic book convention or something?"
"What?!"
"You look like Wolverine. Why you holding a purse? Eh, never mind, just hand it over."
Janet hands over her purse, when something amazing happened.
