"Jeff" meowed and looked up toward the window of his room.
He heard the sound of loud barking coming closer.
"Stanley" looked out the window. "If I were you..."
The former feline, now in Jeff's body, laughed. "Well, I am you,
aren't I?"
"Jeff" meowed again.
"I suggest you run, quickly," the impostor told the guy-turned-cat.
"That's Buck you hear barking. And he hates cats."
Uncertain and confused by the turn of events, Jeff decided to
heed the advice and fled the scene, snarling a few times as he
ducked through the hedge, swearing he would be back to claim
his real body.
"Yeah, yeah," the new occupant of Jeff's human voice said. "Sure
you will, buddy."
"Stanley" turned and surveyed himself in Jeff's mirror. He liked
what he saw.
He heard the sound of Buck's barking grow frantic and then
more distant. The hostile canine must have picked up the scent
of "Jeff" and was on his tail.
