"Have you ever heard the legend of the magical waterfall in the mountains nearby?" she asked.
"No" he said. "Do tell..."
"It's supposedly an old Indian legend. If you swim in its waters under the full moon it will grant you eternal beauty."
"Sounds fantastical."
"Maybe, but I think I've found it."
"How can you tell it apart from any of the other waterfalls?"
"A hunch. The next full moon is Friday night. Care to join me for a little hike? Even if it's not true it will be a nice place to camp."
"Sure."

They parked their car at a small trailhead and headed into the woods. The trail was faint and rugged, but she was sure of the way. They found their way up a narrow valley until it opened into a wider area. There was a waterfall with a wide pool below it. Some open patches along the shore suggested others had camped there before, but not recently. Trees seemed to obscure the valley from above.
They made camp and ate a small dinner as the light faded. He leaned against a boulder on the shore and held her as they watched and waited. Soon the moon rose, casting a faint glow on the trees above. After a few minutes more the pool seemed to glow with moonlight.
"Look at how the moon shines through that gap onto the waterfall!" she exclaimed. "The legend is real!"
She stood up and rapidly shed her clothes before wading into the water. You watched, aroused, at the graceful movements of her naked body. When she was waist deep, she turned back to you, her breasts pert in the cool night air.
"Care to join me?"
As it turned out, the legend was real...sort of. This waterfall and its pool did indeed have magical transformative properties under the full moon, but the effect was not quite what might be expected of "eternal beauty." Perhaps the legend had been garbled over the centuries. Maybe it was mistranslated or the native peoples had intentionally lied to the white man. Or perhaps simply beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
