It began when I made her clothes disappear

Fear and Loathing at the Jubilee

added by Kudzu 4 years ago O

Sara had been shockingly game, once Joey had wished for their guaranteed safety. "Which did you have in mind then, cousin?"

Joey had shrugged, "I mean, just some booze but-"

Sare cut him off, "Booze is good! Let's leave it there. Come on."

She took his hand and led him into the Jubilee, following the flow of the crowd with the other anthros. They came in all shapes, sizes, and genders. Except for those in uniforms or safety gear, they were naked, and public activities seemed to attract nothing more than appreciative looks and occasionally wandering Jubilee volunteers dressed in colorful suits with towels, water bottles, and condoms.

The food court had a truly staggering array of options, and here anthros and humans mingled in equal measure. There were stands offering all kinds of processed meats, vegetables, dairy. Dairy from the source as well, Sara pointed out, gesturing to a stall where several adult people suckled from the teats of anthros and even a pair of human women. Joey ignored those and pulled Sara into a tent nearby where they were carded. Joey was nervous and began a wish but the bouncer merely waved them in, ignoring their age, or perhaps the age of legal consumption was different now.

Either way, Joey and Sara were soon at the bar and placing an order. Joey started to shout over the crowd but the bartender, a studly looking ram anthro, shook their head and pointed at a sign. "Drinks selected by the bartender. Raise both hands if you have any allergies."
Joey and Sara shook their heads and soon had a pair of glasses with a greenish concoction. They clinked their glasses and Sara shouted something Joey could barely make out before tossing them back.

It was like a fire in hir belly and loins was lit by that drink. It tasted of sweet clover, carrots, apples, and something more. Joey and Sara slammed their glasses on the bar and gestured for another. This was soon provided. These the savored, taking with them to a table where they were soon joined by a human woman in her mid-twenties who was leaning against a clearly male anthropomorphic bat. The bat was built, and soon he had managed to strike up a conversation with Joey and Sara. His name was David, and his girlfriend Jenny was here to be inducted but she was nervous. She wanted to talk to some young anthros and here they were...

Joey and Sara were polite at first, but David kept getting them drinks and Jenny was asking more and more questions. The last thing Joey remembered before sie blacked out was a loud trumpeting sound playing from outside the tent.

When sie awoke sie discovered that something had happened. Sara was nowhere to be seen and...
