Joey woke in a foggy haze. Not just hir hangover, sie felt a heaviness and stiffness that became clearer as sie tried to sit up and a spike of discomfort lanced through hir.
Hir belly had swollen up to nearly triple its size, protruding outwards like a caricature of a pregnancy. Sie was wearing a flowing maternity dress over it and could feel an aching wetness between hir thighs. "What the fuck..."
Sie looked around, no sight of Sara, David or Jenny or anyone else. The tent was empty except for her. Sie rubbed her aching head and said, "I wish my headache were clear." They'd collapsed together and now the others were no where to be seen until...
"Morning miracle mommy!" Joey blinked blearily, the tent was open. The others entering. They were dressed normally, Sara and Jenny only showing slightly as they pranced in with plates of greens and vegetables that made Joey's mouth water. They sat on the floor of the tent, in stacks of sweaty blankets and musky pillows and ate, talking as they did. Sara and Joey were high school students, while the David and Jenny were in college. They had been blessed by a miracle of the Jubilee together, which happened but very rarily. That was why their pregnancies were so far along although Sara glanced meaningfully at Joey. At last Joey and hir cousin captured a moment to speak in hushed tones and they decided together...
