Kent had connected the wires to the battery, and he plugged in the receiver, which was supposed to receive the signal from the remote. When he attached the two wires to the two sticks of dynamite, he suddenly heard Ty’s voice ringing in his ears.
“Hey Kent, I think we should modify our bomb just a little bit, and make it a little less harmful, do you know what I mean?” Ty suggested to him.
“Sure, Ty…” Kent whispered. He didn’t want Paul to hear him talking to anyone. “We can change the dynamite into bars of soap!”
“Great… Just don’t say a thing to anyone…” Ty replied.
Kent looked on as he watched as Ty transformed the dynamite. He noticed the color change from a bright red to a light red, but he figured that the captors wouldn’t notice the difference!
Just as Kent got everything to work, Paul walked in the door and held a spray can in the air. He sprayed the liquid right at Kent’s face, which immediately knocked him unconscious. Kent fell on the ground, and Tyrone and Randy grabbed hold of him and tied him up. Paul looked on with a smile, as the two henchmen carried Kent’s body out to the truck.
“I’ll get the dynamite. Now, let’s go to the school and collect a lot of money…” Paul chuckled, as he grabbed the box with the dynamite and the battery. He grabbed hold of the remote in his other hand, and glanced at it with an evil grin.
Paul, Randy and Tyrone had just left the house, when the three ChaosRiders pulled up in the drive way. They immediately jumped up and walked over to the front door of the old, large house. Ty and Peter closed their eyes and concentrated for a moment, as they tried to determine whether any of the goons were still in the house.
“I don’t think they’re here, but I can’t seem to contact Kent either!” Ty exclaimed. “How do we get in the house?”
“I got an idea!” Peter said, as he walked up to the wooden front door. He looked down and realized that there was a very small amount of space between the bottom edge of the door and the tiles of the floor.
Peter then closed his eyes and concentrated. His clothes, his skin, and his face suddenly began to get wet, as if he was being transformed into water. Within seconds, a pillar of water had formed at the place where Peter was standing. The pillar then sank to the floor, as a large puddle of water formed and grew on the ground. When Peter had completely disappeared from sight, the large puddle of water started to flow under the door and slowly made its way into the house. When the puddle had completely streamed inside the house, it suddenly started to shrink in size, as a pillar started to rise up from the center of the puddle of water.
When the puddle was very small as the pillar of water stood over 6 feet tall, the pillar transformed back into Peter’s human form. The water drops transformed back into bones, flesh, and hair, and Peter found himself standing on the other side of the large, wooden door.
Peter then grabbed hold of the lock and unlocked the door, allowing Ty and Jason to walk in. The slowly and quietly strolled around the house, but they didn’t see anything.
“Hey guys, come over here!” Jason shouted, just as he walked into the basement.
Ty and Peter joined up with him, and when they walked into the basement, they realized that was the room where Kent had been held prisoner.
“Where did they go with Kent?” Jason wondered out loud.
“You can tell that they were here…” Ty observed, while he was looking at the pieces of wire and several papers that were on the wooden table. “Wait, I think I found something…”
Ty saw a piece of paper with several instructions on it, which were handwritten.
“Oh no!” he shouted. “They’re going to blow up the school!”
“Alright, guys… Let’s head on back to school!” Jason ordered. Ty and Peter followed Jason, as they ran out the house and jumped on their bikes. They started their bikes, and the three roared back on the street.
