Jack ran down the streets, letting out a mocking whoop as he made sure Edwin slapped hard against the ground with every step, dragging the dog Ms. Santos along with him. The added tuna inside Edwin made things even worse, making Edwin nauseous with no way to throw up, or release. Earning glares from neighbors as he ran down the road, Jack kept running, until he bumped right into someone.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" Jack said, looking up at who he just ran into. It was a girl, about 3 years older than he was, with waist-length blue hair, toting a laptop under her arm. She frowned down at him, her freckles standing out against her face.
"Huh?" She said, looking down at the young boy. "Shouldn't I be saying that? Hey, you're that kid Edwin always tells me about! Jack, right? Do you know where Edwin could be?"
Jack froze, this girl knew Edwin?! Looking over her once more, he began to recognize her. Her name was Dawn, Jack had seen her picking up Edwin before, and she was Edwin's adopted sister. Gritting his teeth, he took a step back. Should he change her just like Edwin? Or should he play it cool and just walk away?
While Jack was considering whether to run away or not, Dawn was thinking to herself. She had found Edwin's Chronivac on his desk and looked over the changes, learning that her little brother had been her older brother before. In addition to that, he was currently someone's shoes.
"So Edwin was turned into this kid's shoes, huh? I have his Chronivac laptop right under my arms, should I act now? This kid could change me into anything though..." Dawn thought, intent on getting her brother back.
The two looked at each other once more. Realizing that Dawn knew where Edwin was, Jack panicked, taking out his emitter. Dawn did the same, quickly opening up the laptop, the two attempting to change the other.
