Well to be honest,they both hit the EMITTER button at the
same time.
However Jack was using Edwins older and smaller Chronivac
whilst Dawn was using a more powerful laptop model with the
POWER BOOST battery feature.
So with a crackling thunderous beam of emitter energy
Dawns machine kicked back the emiiter beam from the weaker antique,so Jack got hit
