Edwin looked down at his body in confusion as he could feel his chest and arms swelling up, not with fat, but with muscle. He was slowly becoming incredibly muscular. His pecs pushed out, and his shoulders widened. His arms inflated like they were footballs and grew a thicker coating of hair. His legs widened and lengthened a little. But to his surprise, he could feel his dick not shrinking, but swelling.
"Whoa," he groaned in a much deeper voice than before. His voice was even deeper than Gabriela's, or Gabriel's.
"Damn," Gabriel commented, eyeing your much more masculine body in surprise. "I thought you were about to become a girl, not this handsome hunk." Hearing Gabriel call him a hunk stirred surprising feelings in Edwin. He felt a little aroused by that notion. But the screams and cries of fear and surprise around the two of them broke the moment.
"We need to get to the Chronivac," Edwin reminded them. "At least things haven't changed too drastically."
"You're joking, right?" Gabriel asked, gesturing around. A pale and skinny cheerleader with big tits who had been a huge, black wrestler with larger muscles than Edwin currently had not even five minutes ago stared at her tits in shock, trying not to cry. A fat and obese man was failing in that regard, having been an especially petite girl earlier.
"I mean our locations haven't changed much," Edwin clarified. He grabbed Gabriel's hand tightly. "Come on." Gabriel only nodded and continued running with Edwin. They pushed past dozens of people reacting to their own changes and to the changes of those around them.
"There!" Gabriel suddenly announced, pointing ahead of them. Sure enough, the Chronivac was resting on the ground. It was still in pieces but not as many pieces as it had been. Upon closer look, it appeared that the Chronivac just had to reconnect to two other parts.
"There's only been two changes so far," Edwin thought aloud. "Can you remember how many pieces you broke the Chronivac in?"
"Not really," Gabriel said with a shrug. "Maybe, five different pieces?"
"So that would mean the Chronivac would cause two more changes as it fixes itself?" Edwin wondered.
"It's possible," Gabriel said. He suddenly gasped and pointed at the two pieces, "And those two go together!"
"How can you tell?" Edwin asked. He saw one of the pieces starting to slide towards the rest of the Chronivac.
"It's this reality we're in," Gabriel said. "I'm an electrical engineering major. I know how this stuff goes together!" He reached over and grabbed the two pieces.
"Ugh," he grunted. "It's like it's being pulled to the emitter."
"Can you fix it?" Edwin asked.
Gabriel gritted his teeth and replied, "Use those big muscles, Edwin, and hold it in place." Edwin grabbed the piece and held it away from the Chronivac. Just like Gabriel had said, some unseen force was pulling the piece to the Chronivac. His newly enlarged muscles easily held it in place while Gabriel worked. Suddenly, the force began to grow in strength. Edwin's arms bulged as he held the piece in place.
"Almost got it," Gabriel muttered. The strain was starting to become too much, even for Edwin. Gabriel's face lit up with joy. "Got it!" And just in time, too.
Suddenly, the connected parts flew out of Edwin's hand and to the rest of the Chronivac. The emitter sparked brightly, and Gabriel grabbed Edwin's hand tightly.
