After what felt like an eternity, a mermadic Tina and a draconic Lance let go of their loving embrace and looked at the massive moonlit ocean that lay upon the magical couple.
Without a word being said, Tina and Lance dove under the water, with Lance’s massive serpentine body, in particular, leaving a massive splash on the water. The nearby beach sand was almost completely soaked by Lance’s powerful tailfin, with only the lamp and Tina’s discarded clothes being the only dry objects from the splash.
Tina gracefully moved her body with the water. Despite being a human less than an hour ago, Tina’s body swam with the coordination of a mermaid who spent all of her life in the sea. If she wanted, Tina could swim with a speed faster than a torpedo but the mermaid deliberately slowed down her swimming for one reason - One huge reason.
Lance. His serpentine body was massive and swam with great power, but his swimming with slow as he tried to get used to moving with such a massive body. Tina had the advantage of still having a mostly human upper body but Lance was fully a dragon.
In sympathy, Tina slowed down her swimming so she could let Lance catch up with her. The mermaid smiled once she saw Lance’s eyes looking back at her, with a small smile forming on the dragon’s face.
Tina swam closer to Lance’s face and laid a webbed hand on Lance’s snout, stroking her lover’s face. “You’re doing great in swimming, Lance. You can do it. I believe in you.”
Lance, not feeling any vocal cords on his throat, replied to Tina’s cooing and stretching out a whisker from his snout and coiling it around Tina’s stomach.
He intended his actions to be a hug, at least the best hug he could give with no arms. The warm smile on Tina’s face let Lance know that she understood his intentions. Tina giggled as she felt the soft whisker rub against her silky smooth skin and a scaly tail.
The two of them never let go of their mythical embrace and hours passed quickly as the two were awed by the various schools of fish, along with the occasional squid and whale, that arrived on their sights.
Eventually, as the sun finally rose and the ocean lit up with more life beyond the nocturnal, Lance and Tina encountered a large kingdom that laid on top of a massive Caldera.
Squinting her eyes, Tina could see merfolk moving around the kingdom. Tina gasped as she saw the kingdom’s commoners.
“Lance, look! Merfolk! They’re real. They’re real!” Monica squealed with glee.
Lance looked silently, knowing that trouble could be brewing if merfolk saw a massive dragon out of nowhere. He opened his mouth to give a warning to Tina, but no words came out - Once again, no vocal cords.
“C’ mon, Lance! As long as you don’t around too much, I’m sure the merfolk there won’t mind if you’re a good dragon.” Tina said with childish excitement in her voice.
Lance couldn’t verbally disagree and he didn’t want to hurt Tina’s body, so he had no choice but to obey.
Tina grinned and swam to the kingdom’s entrance, amazed by the large organic structures that rose up high. When Tina looked at what seemed like the kingdom’s central marketplace, she noticed there was a crowd of merfolk looking at the two with shock.
The mermaid knew she was going to get looks with a massive dragon by her side, but she became curious when she felt Lance’s eyes widen and his whisker lose its grip. Tina turned to see Lance with a worried expression on his face.
“What’s wrong, Lance?” Tina asked with genuine concern in her voice.
What Lance was looking at was a familiar-looking mermaid that stood next to a young regal-looking merman.
