Andrew watched as Dan gulped the pill down easily, then shrugged.
"Well I've made breakfast if you're interested. Steak and eggs, and some seared spinach. Jaz was telling me we need to eat more greens." referring to his sister who lived around the corner, he placed two loaded plates on the table.
Dan scratched the back of his hand before pulling silverware from the drawer and joining his boyfriend at the table. His mouth watered at the sight of the meat and he could only grunt in acknowledgment of Andrews comment.
They were just digging in and Andrew looked up while chewing his first bite, only to stop and gape at the sight of Dan tearing chunks off the steak with his hands and teeth. Low grunts and growls and smacking and chewing sounds were the only noise in the kitchen, and before he could blink, Andrew realized Dan had finished his food and was eyeing his own plate.
"That was delicious, babe." he grumbled, eyes never leaving Andrew's food. "Do you think you're going to be able to eat all of yours?"
Andrew set his knife down and lifted his plate, sliding the steak onto Dan's and keeping the eggs and greens for himself. "Go ahead... the pills must really be ramping up your appetite."
Was it his imagination or was it almost impossible to find a patch of bare skin on Dan now? He could still see the tops of his cheekbones just below his eyes, and the tips of Dan's fingers were still bare, although looking a little puffier, and ... were his nails longer? His entire torso, shoulders, arms and neck (all that he could see above the table) were covered in a thick, dark pelt of hair, mingling with the hair on his head and face. Scanning his head, Andrew realized that Dan's ears and forehead were even growing hair, which had been difficult to see due to Dan's originally shaggy locks.
