To Corbins relief, the air started to get lighter as he walked through the tunnel. This possibly meant that he was going to finally see the outside world again. Although in IRL he could see the blue sky outside his window, the game seemed to induce a feeling of claustophobia within him. As he said before this game wasn't only affecting him physically anymore. Although the transformations he has recieved have been enjoyable, if he knew the game was possessed or had this higher power he would never of picked it up.
Corbin looked ahead of him, to his awe there was a giant stone arch, with steps leading up to it. Behind the arch was a even bigger room which looked like it had prison cells. Oh god...Corbin thought, even though he had just dealt with a minotaur pretty swiftly he didn't want this. To have to destroy countless people who might of also been trapped inside the game just like that other minotaur. He quickly closed this thought, if he was going to get out of this game alive he had to be willing to do anything.
Corbin walked up the steps slowly, hearing his hooves echo across the room. He felt a feeling of splendour, he had already dealt with a few trials what else could this game really throw at him. As he got closer to the arch he saw that there was actually translatable dialogue on the top of it. The stone words are as followed :
"Welcome to your next step in eternity, enter this prison with pride and bravery, since all that follows will be a test of the soul".
Corbin didn't know what to make of this text, what did it mean by "eternity" and a "test of the soul". Was this his next trial? Or was it the prisoners. Whatever it was, it sent shivers down his spine. He knew that this game was far from over. So he wielded his battle axe and prepared himself for the horrors to come.
