Colin tossed four pairs of skates on the ground and wound up two big nylon cables.
"Oh great, another bright idea from a big fat-" Paige complained until Colin threw the skates at her diaphragm.
"Shut up and put them on!" Colin yelled.
Mary Anne prayed as hard as she could with tears pouring down her face.
Everyone else was screaming their heads off as the van barreled straight for the downed bus.
She opened her eyes to see two figures flash by her window.
Chester spotted two others streak down the sidewalk, clutching onto something.
"We're done for." Barry frowned.
"Like hell we are, look!" yelled emo Lindsay.
The pushers were zipping down the hill on roller skates, with Colin and Carter stretching their hands out for the chords Paige and Jackson tossed across.
The pairs positioned themselves at opposite sides of the street, straining as they pulled the ends out.
"Come onnnnn.... come onnnnnnnnn!" Chester whispered as the four struggled to clip the chords on.
The van smacked into the chords, slamming everyone forward as they stretched outwards....
The van screeching to a halt as the quadrio fell over panting.
The crew ran out to great the heroes with praise and embraces, even Paige.
"Okay, now to the gas station, only half a mile to go!" Chester smiled as the four flopped to the ground.
