The queen and her associate returned to your room, and the Queen bid you both farewell, as if you would miss her.
A flash happens and then silence. They had teleported away, leaving you to the sick predicament Queen put you in. The tightness and smell of latex still filled every fiber of your being,
Hours turn into days again. Days into months. You're sure by now that you'd choose death over this... It wasn't living, you were just gasping for air and hoping to be as comfortable as possible, which, and you had to admit, wasn't possible at all with your restricted movements.
Suddenly noise downstairs. Your heart races. Someone must have tracked down the location of the lost operatives that died in the main shop. You hear steps going from room to room till they find your room. They had what looked like flashlights. Felt like the place was being raided by a SWAT team. It was a very organised operation, from what little you could hear from the hall. The door opens suddenly and on of them shouts "This is the Magic Authority Team! Put your hands in the air and turn around slowly! We have permission to use lethal measures!"
Was he talking to you? Suddenly you feel stressed. The officer might take your inaction as defiance and attack you. You hoped to hell and back he wouldn't shoot you. All you could do was hope for the best.
"I SAID PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND TURN AROUND SLOWLY. FAILURE TO COMPLY..." he was interrupted by a fellow officer "Chief, something's off here. Magic presence is off the charts here, yet these two haven't so much as flinched as we got in. We should assumed they are actually not harmed but actually under the effects of powerful magic."
The officer nodded "All right, we'll do the pacifist approach, but anything goes south and it's on you. Even magic won't save from hours of paperwork at the office. Cast an a probing spell to see what we're dealing with here."
The lower ranking officer approached both you and your fellow "doll" slowly. He must have finally realised that you did not look human as he moved a bit, as he let out a surprised "What the hell?" through his breath. "Chief, I don't thing these are human. They are just dolls a girl would have in her bedroom. It's creepy as hell. What's going on?" he was markedly taken aback by the bizarre 5 year old sized dolls, just set up like that. He must have still gathered the courage to cast his spell, because you were both showered in purple light. After a while he spoke up again "Chief, this is unlike anything I've seen. This magic... No one in the ministry knows anything close to this, and yet it's as powerful as the upper echelons of wizardry. It's something out of a popular kid's story. This isn't right. Why would they cast such powerful magic on a couple of dolls? You don't think..."
"Don't be ridiculous, man. You see two dolls and suddenly all the fables are real? Get a grip and let me analyse them myself."
The old man stepped forward and instantly it seemed like a dread had consumed him. You could feel him stumble on his words "Wh..what. This magic. It's powerful... Too powerful. I didn't even cast anything and yet I feel it. It's coming from the dolls. They say I'm one of those "magic tuning forks" that can sense magic if it's powerful enough but this... This is something else... These aren't dolls... It can't be... There are human being inside! All you did was analyse the magic surrounding them. It's like a bubble, preventing any spell to get through. We have to leave before it's too late, before I...
The old man fell, as if he had just fainted. The lower ranking officer just to him shouting for him to wake up, in between sobs. "His heart stopped!" he shouted to his fellow officers "He's absorbed part of the magic! Who knows what this will do to him! Spells are doing fuck all to stop it! NO! We can't lose him! Help me you morons!"
