Deborah thoughts were soon interrupted by John and Kate, barking out of control in the backyard. When she approached the back door, she observed the two humans had chased a squirrel up a tree and were trying to catch it with all their might. Not wanting to attract any attention, Deborah held the stone, and proceeded to alter reality. During the process, the power all around once again, went out. The squirrel that was stuck in the tree, as well as every squirrel on the planet, vanished. From that moment on, squirrels never existed.
After a few minutes, the power returned in the house again. John and Kate had completely forgotten why they had started barking to begin with. After all, nothing was there anyway! John's mind was aware of his transformation though, but thought he could do with a drink right now. Suddenly, something happened, John approached his water dish and began slurping down his water. It took him only a few seconds to notice that his body had reacted to his will. He decided to try one more test to see if it was indeed him who was in control. He picked up his water dish in his mouth and threw it off the porch. John now had full control of his body. But why?!
John figured it must have had something to do with the stone. He knew what he had to do now. When John and Kate were back inside, he waited until Deborah was seated on the couch. Duke had just stepped out for an evening walk and Deborah was watching "The Annual Human Show" on the television. With Deborah alone, John decided to act fast. He jumped up on the couch next to Deborah.
Deborah smiled at John, and started rubbing his ear. For a moment, John was enjoying the scratching behind his ears. He smiled with his tongue hanging out to one side. But he managed to snap out of it, and in a flash, he grabbed the stone in his mouth and with a slight tug, surprisingly, the collar slipped off of Deborah. Deborah tried to snatch the collar back, but John had already bounced out of reach. Deborah started chasing John throughout the room.
"Drop it, boy! Drop it now!" Deborah yelled.
Once John felt he was far enough away, he tried using the stone. He placed his paws on it and started barking at it. But before hd could finish barking, he felt the collar slip out from under his hand. He looked up and saw Deborah staring back at him. She knew exactly what had happened.
"I'm not sure, how, but somehow, your mind has returned, hasn't it John. I know, you probably resent me for doing this to you, but I have no intention on going back to the way things were before. I'm afraid the only thing left to do, is make certain you never turn on me again. Don't worry, everything will be back to the way it should be."
With that, Deborah held the collar and watched as John's scared face immediately turned into a smile. John started panting happily and began licking his penis once again. He was totally oblivious to what had happened before.
But before, Deborah could celebrate, she felt the collar slip away from her grasp. By the time she turned around, it was too late. Deborah watched as Kate had one hand on top of the stone and was already barking a command.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light throughout the entire room. When the light faded, Deborah was once again, a doberman. John and Kate, who, while back to normal, were still on their hands and knees, and completely nude, stood up and observed their surroundings.
"Is everything back to normal again?" asked John.
"I hope so. I didn't think I could take another minute in that form. Eww! Excuse me, I have to go brush my teeth. I can still taste your poop in my mouth."
"By the way, sorry, about the mating... twice," said John. "So, what happens now...."
