Johnny and Ezekial swam right down to the bottom of the sea, and then back up to the surface.
After an hour, they decided to become human again.
They heaved themselves onto the beach, and then, they saw to their surprise, that their fishy changes were reversing themselves.
Their tails became legs, the scales faded, their swim clothes magically reappeared, and their feet lost the webbing, regained the toenails, becoming normal human feet again. "We're normal again." Johnny said. He did feel a bit sad, but was glad to be human again, as was Ezekial.
Later, they went paddling again.
Soon, they had their picnic lunch, and had a long rest in the sunshine. Johnny stared out at the sea. his bare feet were tingling like mad, as were his brother's.
