"We are 2 hours away from home remember? You still need to get to the college!", you mention.
"COLLEGE!" Keith roars, "With those things, who needs school or a job, we can do anything!"
He has a point, you think, but you have a bad feeling about messing with reality too much.
"Besides, shouldn't figuring out those keys be our top priority?" Keith suggests.
You are annoyed that he is making sense, after all, how is he going to show up in this state, you need to change him back in order to show up at college and you need to learn how they work so you don't ruin reality.
"Alright, here's the plan, get in the car before someone sees you like this. Then we will drive closer to the school and rent a motel room, the open day is still on tomorrow so we can figure out the keys over night.", you suggest.
Keith rolls his eyes, "You still really want me to go to a dumb college when we have this kind of power at our fingertips!" he remarks.
"I don't know what this thing can do, how long it will last, what the consequences are, we don't want to become dependent on it" you reply
"Fine, I will go if I get to try using the keys later!" he demands
You nod, "Alright, but no changing me without permission!", he smiles and nods.
The two of you get into the car and drive towards to the nearest motel, you go in leaving Keith in so he doesn't draw attention. You come back to Keith playing on his phone, very frustrated with his claws. "I got us a room, now to get you in without people noticing".
Keith sarcastically replies, "Oh, just that easy huh?"
"Well we might as well try to use the keys now" you say pointing the keys at him.
