You fire the keys at Keith and in a flash only a pile of clothes remain.
Uh oh.
"Are you in there?" He asks while frantically looking through the clothes.
"What was that for!?" You here a small bounce ask.
You find a small lion man, no more than a few inches tall standing in a croc.
"Oh thank goodness, I thought for a second I destroyed you. Well it should be easy to get you inside now." You say, very relieved.
Keith gives and nasty glare and as you pick him up he bites your hand.
"Ouch! Knock it off, or I'll leave you like that." You say as you place the lion man in your pocket.
You enter the room that you rented for the night and lock the door behind you. It is a rather worn down room with two beds, a tv, and a bathroom.
You take Keith out of your pocket and place him on the nightstand.
"What a dump" he says, "Couldn't have gone for someplace nicer?"
You shake your head, "Still don't have money, but anyway let's try to figure out how these keys work"
You pull a candy wrapper out of your pocket and place it on the ground between the beds.
"Alright, so the keys have four buttons: lock, unlock, panic, and trunk. Let's try each one on the wrapper and see what happens." You say.
"And then make me not small again!" Keith demands.
You nod in agreement, though you do find Keith extremely entertaining in this form.
"Alright then, here goes!" You say pointing the keys at the wrapper hitting the lock button and thinking of steak.
ZAP!
Before you is now a piece of cooked steak.
"Awesome, can you grab me a piece of that?" Keith asks.
"Later" you say, "We need to test all the buttons first"
You then hit the unlock button while pointing at the steak, thinking about a potato.
ZAP!
The steak reverted back to a wrapper.
"So the unlock is an undo button?" You press it again pointing at the ground then suddenly Keith grows back to full size and falls off the nightstand.
"Ouch, well that is good to know..." he says while rubbing his head.
You then hit the trunk button and try to turn the wrapper back into a steak.
ZAP!
The wrapper is a steak again.
"Huh, so I guess it isn't different from the lock button?" You say in confusion.
"What do you mean? You didn't do anything?" Questions Keith.
You think for a moment, this one must alter reality so people don't notice changes. You hit it again with the keys with the thought in your mind to make Keith aware.
"Oh, now I see it." Keith says
One more button.
You press the panic button and suddenly Keith is back to normal and so is the wrapper. You look outside and your old car is back. "Oh, so this one just undoes everything at once. That's useful." You say.
Keith is hurriedly dressing himself after being turned back. "Well now we know what the buttons do, can I use them now?" Keith asks
"After you go to the college thing, remember we agreed." You remind him
He rolls his eyes, "Fine, but can you make some food. I am famished."
You turn the wrapper into a couple of steaks and begin eating.
