While gasping for air, I could barely speak in her tight grasp.
"You can't.... since you told me... You're permanently shrunk..." I gasped.
"What!?" Linda angrily boomed in my face.
She loosened her grip on me, and I breathed in all the air I could.
"I'm sorry... but the wish I made can't be undone by wishes after it since I said permanently," I said.
After catching my breath, I found the tiny and giant woman processing her situation. Her face slowly became a small smirk, and she stared directly at me with intimidating glaring eyes. Linda pondered for a bit more, then broke her silence.
"I wish you would describe how and when you got this ring," Linda finally said.
My mouth felt compelled to speak, "An old woman left her purse in a store I was in, and I brought it to her at the bus stop. After that she gave me the ring, then she made say 'I wish no one could take this ring off my finger!' She let me know that the ring would then grant my fondest wishes. This was about a hour ago."
"That's it?" Linda questioned.
"Well then I made my first wish, which was that the clothes of the female I'm looking at would disappear."
"And that was me?"
"Yes, and I tried to make you forgot, but the ring couldn't affect your mind." I continued uncontrollably.
"Interesting, not only did you embarrass me, but you tried to make me forget about it too," Linda Wu said hostilely.
"I..."
"I wish you could not speak until I say the phrase CCTV twice," Linda swiftly interrupted.
"That old woman trusted the wrong person with this ring. You never should have owned this ring. in the first place. I, on the other hand, could use that ring so much better."
My eyes widened as I figured out what she was insinuating. Linda thought carefully, then she began her wish.
"I wish that the next four wishes made after this one would be granted all the same time when I say the phrase CCTV next."
"I wish that the first person to wear and receive this ring today, that I'm currently in possession of is me, Linda Anna Wu who works for WTLC and was born in Seattle, and has one sister, named Melody Amy Wu, who was born in California."
"Second, I wish that time would reverse to when the old woman who used to possess this ring said 'I wish no one could take this ring off my finger!'"
"Third, I, the person making this wish, wish to retain all my memories of the past 2 hours."
"Fourth and finally, I wish that I can never physically be shrunken temporarily or permanently by this ring ever."
"CCTV," Linda finally said.
