“My, my, my Ms. Pendragon year ungot quite a gathering here.”
Kellie froze in place, her face going pale, turning she was shocked to see Jack and his friends now standing at the front entrance of the cabin. “How did you get here,” she whispered.
“Pretty easily actually,” Jack smirked. “I was able track Katie, what kind of father would I be if I didn’t know how my daughter was doing.” Kellie narrowed her eyes as Jack stepped forward. It appeared Jack had decided to take Ayami, Rexie, and Sebastian with him on this little trip, what alarmed her now though was seeing Zack and Mia’s in tow. The two children had no idea what Jack was planning and Kellie had no desire to see the kids come to any harm. “Not sure what your up to Jack but this isn’t the time nor the place.”
Jack continued forward, a smug look on his face as he smirked at Kellie. “Son of Lilith,” Tatsu growled. “Your presence is not required. Depart at once.”
Jack froze as he gazed at the Golden Kitsune. “Oh shit,” he whispered.
“What,” Ayami asked, looking annoyed at Jacks caution. Jack paled slightly as he looked between Tatsu and Shizen. “We should go now,” Jack said quickly. Ayami and Rexie gave the young warlock a curious look as he began to back up rather slowly.
“Ayami,” Zack asked, gazing curiously at the two Kitsune. “Those look like the monsters that tried to kidnap Mia. Are they the same monsters?”
Ayami gave her young charge a coy smile as she now gazed at her charge. “I think you might be right Zack,” she grinned. “Why don’t you and Mia show them what happens to monsters.” Zack gave a nod as he grabbed Mia’s hand. “Don’t worry Mia I won’t let anything happen to you.” Mia nodded fearfully as she now stared down the two divine Kitsune.
“Ayami What are you doing,” Jack exclaimed. Ayami continued to smile, not answering Jack as she watched Zack transform. Zack grunted as his form began to shift. The boy quickly grew larger, his muscles swelling as thick brown fur grew over his body. Zacks face now began to change, his mouth pushing out into a muzzle as her teeth lengthened into fangs. Finally the boys blue eyes changed into a golden brown. “I won’t let you take Mia again,” Zack growled.
“Ayami stop him,” Jack commanded. “No chance,” she spat. “Not gonna let your girlfriend make an allies. Zack tore them to pieces before, know he can do it again.”
Jacks eyes went wide as Zack now slowly began to approach Tatsu and Shizen, Mia was now beginning to cast a spell as Rexie sat by her side. Jack knew what these Kitsune were, these weren’t soldiers they were gods. If they wanted to they would tear the children to pieces. Ayami’s bloodlust was getting the best of her, she wouldn’t listen to reason. Looking at Tatsu he could tell the divine Kitsune would not have a problem destroying the children if need be. “Kellie,” he said sternly. “You need to stop Zack now before he gets himself killed.”
Kellie nodded, motioning towards her daughter and her friends. If they didn’t act the children could be hurt. Katie seemed to understand this as she now gazed at her friends. Mika and Claudia were the first to step forward, stepping in between the wolf beast and the Kitsune. “Whoa easy their Scooby,” Mika stated. “Probably not the best idea.”
“But Mika,” Zack growled. “Those are monsters. They hurt Mia. They hurt you and Claudia. I won’t let them hurt anyone else.”
Zack now tried to push his way forward, Mika and Claudia desperately trying to keep the wolf beast from attacking. “Yo dragon mom a little help,” Claudia called. Samantha now stepped forward, grasping the wolf beast by the shoulder and pushing him backwards. Zack now gazed at Samantha in surprise. “Wait are you a monster,” he asked, shocked at how strong Samantha was.
“No just a mom,” Samantha said sternly. “Now you need to stop this right now young man.”
Jack had watched things nervously, attacking Kitsune that were as strong as his mother was definitely not a good idea. Grabbing Ayami by the shoulder he now pleasingly looked at the succubus trying to get her to understand. “Listen to me,” he yelled. “Those aren’t regular Kitsune. Their divine in nature and easily as strong as my mother. Zack attacking them is suicide!”
Ayami stared at Jack In stunned silence before quickly calling Zack back to her. Talking to her young charge she could see a look of confusion cross his animalistic face. “So I’m not attacking the monsters,” he asked obviously confused. “No buddy not today,” Ayami sighed. “Why don’t you and Mia head down to the lake. I’ll catch up with you soon.” Zack shrugged before taking Mia’s hand, the two children walking out of the cabin, quickly seeming to forget about fighting monsters and only wanting to have fun.
Jack could only sigh in relief, glancing over at an obviously angry Tatsu. “Sorry,” he said sheepishly. “Demons, they have a mind of their own.”
“Okay,” Kellie exclaimed. “Listen, before things get any uglier I need everyone to relax. Jack, quit being an idiot and sit down. We obviously have a lot of issues that we ALL need to work out.”
Jack, Katie, and their friends now sat as Tatsu and Shizen looked the group over. Before any of them left they would all need to work things out.
