Officer Brody chuckled when he thought about the way this would work - what would 30% dog even look like? He looked through the options as he clicked into this section of the Chronivac. And it looked to him like there was more depth to this weird little editor than he'd thought it would have. It went into depth in breeds, down to the mixture between breeds and even a possible option of "mental changes". Brody shrugged and clicked on those, figuring not much was gonna happen anyway. Maybe this would just display a video or something.
He wound up selecting German Shepherd and thumbed his chin when he saw the "Duration" Screen. He wondered about that and selected 30 minutes, figuring it would just be thirty minutes in this seriously weird game. So as he headed back inside, getting the transformation started, he didn't really think much about what was going to happen to him.
Yet as he took a seat to watch some videos on his computer related to powerlifting, he started to distinctly feel hot as the duration bar continued its slow crawl from 30 minutes. Brody tried to focus on the form and concepts in his video, and put in some earphones and took off his shirt, leaning forward on to his elbows.
5 minutes in, Officer Brody offhandedly scratched at what he assumed was just an itch at his stomach - little did he know, that was his fur growing in, not as thick as it normally would be on a dog and still showing human skin. It was growing in rather like human body hair would. Owing to the chosen breed, the fur growing in on Brody's torso and arms lightened a bit and the fur elsewhere darkened.
10 minutes in, the video was just four minutes from done, and Brody felt a sense of discomfort as he adjusted his crotch on his bed. He was feeling weird down there, and figured he was just pent up; maybe he needed to get laid some time soon. He didn't notice the fur was now in full force down his legs as well, and the stub of a tail was starting to push out, outside his notice, from his tail bone. His manhood, resting inside his pants, was adjusting and changing from human characteristics to looking more canine.
15 minutes...in his transformation, Brody was wondering what the hell was wrong with him. He still felt hot, and even as he went to the next video he found himself scratching and feeling still so weirdly hot. But just breathing more and scratching made him feel a bit better. He sighed in relief and offhandedly pawed at his manhood, chuckling as he felt a spike of pleasure run up it just from contact. Yeah, definitely pent up. He'd need to go ahead and take care of that when he was done.
But as he did so he grunted and adjusted his pants, the tail was growing in and was making quite an impression back there.
20 minutes in, and Brody was finally starting to notice something was up. His face was starting to ache a bit, and when he went to adjust the volume, he saw it. His eyes went wide in changing sockets and he saw his hands were...well, still hands, but the nails were sharper and somewhat longer, and the palm and fingers had rudimentary pads on them. He outright tore the earphones from changing ears, which seemed to stand up more, and let out a scream that sounded somewhat hoarse.
Brody's pants were getting really uncomfortable, so on an impulse he pulled them down and looked to see a substantially changed cock and a half developed tail.
"What...what the fuck happened to me!? Ugh...my head...my...ugh...!!" The officer's head was now aching and he was aware as it seemed to stretch, changing more to resemble a muzzle but still retaining most of his humanity. His eyes went open and looked distinctly more canine in appearance, orienting slightly more forward as befitted an animal originating as a carnivore. He threw back his head and screamed again - which changed into a half howl as he continued changing.
25 minutes in, and Officer Brody retrieved the Chronivac after a moment spent horrified, gazing into his reflection, but then feeling increasingly and oddly curious. He started to realize what did this to him, what this thing could do, and he just held it aloft as he watched the transformation tick down. He felt at his fur, which in some places was pretty thick, and felt significantly changed human skin in other places. Yeah, he thought as he considered what happened, this thing did this to me.
After the first moment's horror and fear, he had started to calm and wonder what else this thing could do...
30 minutes! The Chronivac dinged and let Brody know even though he had a pretty good idea of it that he was done changing. The officer cleared his throat to try and talk more like a normal human, an effort only half successful, "Damn...I kinda wanted a police dog on the force. Just...didn't think it was gonna kinda be me. Wonder what else this change did."
He looked down at his feet and noted they were pretty much a good way toward dog paws, and walking on this odd combination of human feet, dog pads, and such was just funny feeling. Brody noted as he walked that it seemed the change leaned out his stomach a bit, while otherwise he kept his incredibly muscular build. Trying to flex was another issue - he couldn't raise his arms as high as he used to be able to, and he noted he was feeling very energetic.
"Yeah, I AM at least part of the way dog now, it'd make sense I'd kinda feel like running and playing a bit...wonder if that'd do me some good in the backyard. No neighbors able to see over the fencing..." He thought as he scratched his chest. Maybe it wasn't wise to indulge his more canine side, but he didn't have much to do, and he had apt free time now...
