The Chronivac beeped and chirped, and nothing seemed to happen. Jeff waited but...everything seemed to be the same. He sat back down on the floor, watching the screen, but the program said "Working". Yet, everything seemed to be the same for Jeff. 'What's going on?' Jeff thought to himself, 'I thought it was going to change the world.' Jeff sighed, but he kept waiting.
The program now said "Fifty percent change complete." Fifty percent? Jeff shrugged, still not seeing it. He stood up on all fours and stretched his body, trying to get it a little loose. Sitting on that floor was making him stiff. Now the Chronovac said "Seventy-five percent change complete." 'Maybe it'll all happen when it finishes up' Jeff thought. He began to wag his butt excitedly, 'That would make me happy.'
"Ninety percent change complete, last chance to abort." The screen read. Jeff stood up again, the tag on his collar clinging around as he did. He walked over to the Chronovac. 'Abort?' He thought. 'Abort what?' Jeff sniffed the Chronovac as it reached 100%. 'I can't play with this, this is my owners.'
"There you are Jeff!" Jeff turned around, as a teenage husky girl entered the room. "I was wondering where you got off to, how'd you get locked in here?" Jeff wagged his butt at the site of his master. "Come here!" She patted her thighs.
"Ruff!" Jeff ran over and almost knocked her over in excitement. His master laughed and stroked his head, "Good boy Jeff, good boy."
