The Magic Shop

A transformed society

added by Unnamed 3 years ago O

Noah researched via internet what the world was like thanks to all the incredible lies the Journal of Facts turned into truth, and was stunned by what he found.

First, the “no shame in never being pregnant” ‘lie’ turned down the social pressure to have children, diminishing greatly the human population on earth. Nothing threatening humanity, that said. In fact, with only 1/3 many human as would otherwise have been, the planet was cleaner and famine in the world was greatly reduced, which in turn deduced the number of wars going on.

Secondly, the existence of man-mothers somehow reduced sexism, without making it totally disappear alas. But it was enough to make it so that ruling women were only slightly rarer than their male counterpart. Idem when it came to scientific discovery. In fact, to Noah's surprise, human society didn't loose any of its technological advancement. Not only all inventions and other discoveries were simply redistributed, and so almost equally between genders, but on a few points technology seemed even slightly more advanced in this altered universe.

Happy with how things turned to be, Noah Williams returned to his daughter, Heather, and his parents, Anna & John.
