Now the thing was if dragons were just another exotic form of animal that would have been the end of the matter.
Case Closed as they say.
However dragons are mythical creatures,belonging more in the
Laws of God
then the
Laws of Science
So although the hospital was a bit unsure what to do with this
honest to goodness firebreather monster they now had
in their emergency room
a special division of the Military that deals with
supernatural things was more then happy to take the dragon off the hospital's hands.
So it was the special team arrived ,led
by a Major Siefried.
As a astonished Svede looked on the Major produced a big
elephant tranquillizer gun and a hypodermic dart and asked
Svede where he could get some clean drinking water.
As Svede looked on the Major filled that rather huge hypodermic dart with water and then turned around
and shot the dragon with it.
The dragon immediately roared up on her hind legs and did
quite a bit of damage to the hospital ceiling with her horns,roared quite a bit,
thrashed the room good with that long sinuous tail of hers
and then shook violently and toppled to the ground,flattening the Stomach Pumping Machine with her
9,000 pounds worth of dragon mass.
There were a few more twitches and then the monster lay still,
as good as dead as far as Svede could tell.
The Major corrected Svede on that idea and explained
that since the dragon was a supernatural creature it couldn't die.
It was essentially a undead dragon.
The Major could see that Svede was taking a serious interest
in the subject of dragons,undead or otherwise and
offered the civilian a job in the Special Operations unit
of the Military.
The Major explained it had something to do with temporarily
unCursing the host ,Lian,the dragon had taken up residence
in.
And so hours later ,after the cranes had smashed a hole
in the hospital roof and hoisted the beast out and onto a
flatbed Military truck and a lot of cloak and dagger stuff,
Lian awakened to find herself in on hospital gown in a
Military hospitals sealed off wing,temporarily
unCursed
and to the rest of the World the human victim of a dragon....
