Well nothing happened and when Colin tried a different set
of "21 Questions ' he discovered to his dismay that Jane
and anyone else he tried his world changing
"21 Questions" tactic on didn't shift into Zombie Trance Mode
and nothing changed.
Basically the Power was either busted or had been taken away from him.
Which was about 95 percent true.
So Colin,Jane and everyone else got on with life and after
a year Colin had lost interest in dragon riders/raiders and dragons and was into Space Pirates of Football Planet
merchandise by the time the 1rst yearly anniversary
of Colin's brief fling at being a omnipotent World changing Deity came around dragons were yesterdays dogs breakfast
/a dead white male issue as far as Jane and Colin were
concerned.
Which meant when the dragons came back to bite em in the
behind it caught Jane totally off guard.
For she was the one in the family who caught the
mysterious new and horrific
draekone virus .
Basically what happened was that some archaeologists working on a sealed cave on the Greek island of Cadmus
came across the mummified remains of a giant serpent
that commonly appeared in Greek myths called
a draekone.Basically a Greek dragon by another name,a
critter that often fought and was defeated by Greek heroes such
as Herkules in the myths.
However this mummified real life dragon had within it a genetic altering virus that spread into the human population.
Roughly one in 100 people caught it over the next year and of those infected roughly 1 in 10 died from catching it.
Somehow Jane was lucky enough to avoid the virus for the
first few months of the epidemic ,though she did catch the sniffles from it that winter of the epidemic.
Then spring came,the warm weather revived the
epidemic and this time Jane got hit hard by the
'dragon virus'
and by the time she coughed and spasmed and vomited her way
out of the nasty bugs attack on her system
on a genetic level she wasn't human anymore but something more
'Draekoney '.....
Colin had finally got his wish to see dragons,just not the way he'd
expected.
And certainly not with his sister Jane as one of the
participants.
