Derrick was still deciding whether to go with the minotaur or not when he spied a door in the corner of his eye.
"Hmm, what's that over there? That looks cool!". Derrick pointed to a wooden door that was surrounded by jungle vines and flowers. It had a jungle cave painted on it. "Oh that, sir, is the neanderthal room. It's available if you would like to check it out?", The attendant said with a smile. "Okay, why not?", Derrick said.
He walked over to the room and the attendant opened the door. It opened into what looked like a realistic, steamy jungle. Derrick walked in. "Whoa, this is incredible! This all looks so real. How big is this place?", He asked. He turned around to hear the attendants answer but when he turned around, all he saw was jungle. The door was gone, as was the attendant! In each direction he could see, was just thick, dense jungle! Uh oh! Derrick began to panic!
"Oh no! Where is the door, how do I get back to the hotel!", He mused. Derrick began running frantically in the direction of where the door should be but to no avail. He slowly walked back the other way, intent on exploring the jungle he was now stuck in.
After about 5 minutes of walking, examining his surroundings, he looked down and gasped in shock. HE WAS NAKED! Where had his clothes gone?! It was as if they magically disappeared! When did that happen?! He was standing there butt naked! Looking down at dirty bare feet, he realized that he had been walking barefoot for a while, and hadn't even noticed it! "What the hell is going on?!", He thought to himself.
That was when he looked at his dirty, bare feet. They were massive! Much larger than before. He was maybe a size 8 before, but now he was probably around a 12 or a 13! Not only that, but thick dark brown hair sprouted all over the tops of his feet and on the knuckles of his toes! It looked like he had hobbit feet, or something! He lifted one of his feet up abd he gripped it in his hand to get a closer look. They were so dirty, it looked like he had never seen shoes before in his life! His hand gripped his foot and he felt the thick wiry hair on the tops. Jeez, he had some pretty hairy feet. That was when Derrick scrunched up his nose as a powerful odor hit him. Oh jeez, his feet reeked now! Gross! He let go and put his foot down, sniffing his hand with displeasure.
He stood up and put his mind on the task at hand. Where the hell had the door gone? He began retracing his steps to see if he somehow missed it. Racing through the jungle was giving him a headache! Plus, the muscles in his arms and legs hurt for some reason. Come to think of it, his jaw was a bit sore as well. What was going on?! He scratched his chest and his legs as he realized he was also quite itchy as well. It must be an allergic reaction to some plant in this jungle! He had to find a way out and back to the resort!
