The family's feet became wolf feet as Mary's feet became hooves."Do you do this every year?" Mary asked curious. "Since he turned 5." the woman answered pointing to the boy. "When I grew up I'm becoming a wolf permanently." the boy exclaimed. "We talked about this son." the man said to the boy. "I don't want to be an office worker like you! I want to be a wolf!" the boy yelled back angry. This started an argument about the boy's future. Mary just had to laugh at this. "What's so funny?" the man asked her cross. "When he turns 18 he's an adult. Which means he can do whatever he wants." Mary explained. "I'm going to be a wolf so there." the boy replied sticking his tongue out immaturity. The 2 adults sighed. They knew Mary was right. And they knew their must likely would become a wolf permanently. He's made it very clear he hates being human. He already wants to be a wolf permanently. They doubt that will ever change. "Why become a whitetail deer & be hunted & devoured by wolves?" the man asked. "Frankly I hate being human, I love deer & being hunted & devoured sounds amazing." Mary answered as they all started get fur. "But you do know you'll die right?" the woman asked her. "Of course I know that. I'm not stupid." Mary replied feeling insulted. "Prey has a mouth." the boy replied smartass laughing. All their faces pushed out a bit changing their noses. "Not for much longer." Mary said smartass laughing too.
