Well, the good news was that the military didn't instantly fire a volley of bullets at you. Your lizard night vision, however, was able to make out the soldiers manning the checkpoint at the front gate training their rifles at you before the floodlights atop their vehicles shine in your direction, their stark brightness overwhelming your reptilian eyes and causing simultaneous hisses of mild pain from all three of you. Nonetheless, you managed to get close enough to the gate so you got down on your knees and kept your claws raised in the air like you were surrendering; Andrea and Nicole followed your lead, though Nicole took a few moments trying to figure out how to do that without actual knees (settling on lowering his torso close to the ground) and you noticed Andrea seemed more agitated and grumbling at this than you had expected. Maybe it's the frustration that she can't tell them she's military and thus not be subjected to this kind of indignity. Maybe it's the rifle slung on her back that she'll probably have to give up. As your gaze drifts down from her maw past her large breasts to her belly, you wonder if it's maybe a change in her hormones die to...carrying your seed, in more ways than one.
The standoff seems to last an eternity, the guards at the gate keeping those floodlights on you until several people begin to approach you on foot, a mix of soldiers and whom you assume are lab technicians from their dress and demeanor. A few of them were decked out head to toe in biohazard suits -- your human mind has mixed feelings about this, as while you understand the precaution it does highlight the fact that you aren't considered a normal human now. You had laid out your ID badges from Beta Lab neatly in front of each you to try to tell them each of your identities, which they did notice and you could overhear them say as much over their radio. You tried to calm yourself as they got close, wondering if against all odds this idea would work.
