Eventually, one fo the technicians approached you, two soldiers were behind him, carrying rifles loaded with specific bullets to pierce your scales, you looked at the technician's ID card, he was the head researcher of this facility.
The technician held a small lantern, and proceeded to inspect your eyes and maw, being careful to not have his gloves cut open by your, Andrea's or Nicole's teeth, or have some of your saliva, and in Nicole's case his venom exposed to his skin, despite being covered from head to toe with quarantine equipment. He looked at each one of the ID cards along with the guards, one of the guards' eyes instantly lighted up as he looked at Nicole's ID card, and the technician's eyes lighted up as well when he stumbled upon your ID card, he then looked back, and motioned to the soldiers to stand down, which they did.
He then looked at the ID cards, before asking; "Which one of you is Andrea?" he spoke, both you and Nicole pointed at Andrea, "Which one of you is Nicole?" he then asked, you pointed at Nicole, noticing how one of the soldiers was staring in disbelief at the serpentman before him, Nicole quickly recognized him, his name was Leon, he used to be a guard in the Beta Lab, but then his assistance was required in the Delta Lab, the two of them were starting to develop a relationship, Nicole using most of his freetime outside of research speaking with Leon for hours. He looked down, trying to say something along the lines of "I'm sorry." but all that came out was a soft and dull growl. The technician noticed it, he looked at Leon and Nicole for a few seconds, before looking at you, "That means you're Katherine." he said, you nodded, "You broadcasted the data of the antidote, right?" he asked, you nodded again, his lips curled into a friendly smile at your response, "The experiments and research of your team back in the Beta Lab were a blessing to the last of us humans, Katherine." he spoke, gesturing to the three of you to follow him, as he went over to an elevator that would take the three of you inside the Delta Lab.
"Oh by the way, my name is Daniels." he added, with a friendly chuckle, before pressing a button that slowly took you, along with Andrea, Nicole and the two guards to the underground facility, Nicole and Leon often trading glances, Nicole almost instantly breaking them, the guard beside Leon tried to comfort him, while Andrea tried to comfort her brother as well. "The antidote you broadcasted was essential, through it's usage, we managed to save soldiers and researchers from other laboratories, turning them into sapient lizardpeople instead of feral ones, who continued to fight and search for ways to restore their forms." spoke Daniels, letting of a sigh, "Sadly, there seems to be no way of creating an antidote that could revert the transformation, so in other words, people who transformed have lost their physical humanity forever." he added, "However, all of the lizardpeople down here seemed to prefer this form rather than their human ones, the physical strength, the enhanced senses, the halt of the aging process, the regneration and immunity to disease, those were advantages that were welcomed. I myself admit that I was thinking about forsaking my humanity as well." he chuckled, you gave a suprised growl at the mentioning of other lizardpeople, making Daniels nod, "I'm sure you'll recognize some of them." he said.
Eventually, you, Daniels, Andrea, Nicole and the two guards reached a one of the floors of the Delta Lab, specific to the lizardpeople, you could see lizardmen and lizardwomen wandering around, sometimes accompanied by humans, who were either lovers or siblings, some of the lizardpeople managed to recognize Andrea, who saluted her, and she saluted them back.
