While food was the main thing going on during Animalia's Thanksgiving Feast, there was also a big screen that showed things that were showed only on Thanksgiving, such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Of course there were those who were more interested in the football games that were going on at the time, hoping to see their favorite team move on to the Super Bowl. But there was an occasional thing involving Animalia in general or specific Animalians.

Before she got her food, Mercy was pulled aside to a rather amusing thing. Apparently she was the latest to take part in a (false) gameshow that involved three experts on something other than Criminal Justice trying to guess, within ten yes-or no questions, how a certain criminal got arrested.
"So Mercy," said the gameshow host (with a clearly fake name), "If the panel fails to guess the circumstances that led to your arrest within ten yes-or-no questions, you will receive a summer vacation tour of the current Animalia Colonies, all expenses paid. That is, of course, after you've repaid your debt to society."
What followed were questions from the panel (again with clearly fake names and occupations) that were clearly inspired by real crimes committed by real, dumb criminals.
"Did you leave a meth lab unattended and blow up the trailer you were living in?" asked a clearly fake detective.
"While that has happened once or twice," answered the host, "Mercy actually doesn't use the money she gains from her dishonest lifestyle for drugs. So the answer is no. Six down, four to go."
When the video of the gameshow appeared on the Animalia website, there were clearly posts from convicted petty crooks wanting to sign up. When a screenshot from the video appeared in the comments that showed a card that revealed that there was no such gameshow in existence, and was just for fun, there were clear signs/posts of disappointment.

After the Thanksgiving feast was the inevitable problem of dealing with Thanksgiving leftovers. Fortunately there were bags and Tupperware containers that people could fill with leftovers to take home to eat later. While there were some who grumbled about it taking up more space in their fridges, there were more who were appreciative about it since there were those who were running short on food and money before "payday".

Another thing that was going on were the infamous "Black Friday sales". Because of what would inevitably happen, there were many members of both APD and the Rhino guard stationed at all of the stores in Animalia and Lyre. This would inevitably result in hilarious thwarting of either shoplifters of expensive electronics, guys or girls fighting over something that two or more wanted, or similar things. While many surrendered themselves after being caught, the videos of said incidents were getting uploaded to Animalia's website and generating a lot of comments on how hilarious they were.
