That moment Mary burst into laughs. “You have to see your face! It was hilarious!”
“What? Weren’t you going to eat me?”
“No way! The instructions said I would still be me after the changes! I just remembered that black widows kill their partners and used that to scare you a little!”
“A little? I was scared to death here! A little more and you would have a real corpse here!” He said while trying to calm down.
“But it was fun as hell! I liked it a lot! Let me free you now.”
Mary used her claws to cut the silk. She had used the one with glue only when she caught Jeff’s legs. She licked that portion to free his legs and finished the job.
“So, what do you think of this new me?” Mary asked while turning around and showing her body to Jeff.
“You are gorgeous! And also scary as hell if you wanted. I have no idea what would happen to me if bite me!”
“My venom can put you out in some minutes. It is very potent and since I am this huge, I have a lot of it on my glands.” To illustrate that Mary lifted her fangs. Jeff saw a drop of her venom accumulate on the tip of one fang. Mary caught that drop with her claw.
“This drop of venom can put out two or three humans. And I think I can store up to half a liter of it in my glands.”
“Wow! Then keep me away from that! You are pretty dangerous now.”
Mary licked the venom drop from her claw.
“Are you crazy? You licked your venom!” Jeff shouted.
“No, I am not. My venom does not affect me. And its taste is good. I think I can use it to season my food. Talking about that, I am hungry now.”
“What do you want to eat?” Jeff asked.
“Meat! I think a pork leg would be great! And I want it raw! No seasons either.”
“Do you want to eat raw meat? Did the changes affect your mind?”
“I am still me here.” Mary said tapping her forehead. “But I do feel different because now I am a drider. I can make webs, I can control this body, I know how to capture the preys on my web. Everything related to be a drider is in my head now.”
