Before Jeff could even begin to look at all the options someone began knocking on his door.
"Just a minute!" Jeff yelled while he minimized the program so as not to draw attention to himself, "all right come on in."
"Jeez Jeff what with all the secrecy, are you whacking off in here or something?" Jeff turned around to see his best friend Dean enter his room and shut the door. Dean like Jeff was an average high school boy. He had short brown hair and brown eyes to match. Like his hair and eyes the rest of his body was just as plain. He had never stood out much in high school, seeing as though he lacked the physical prowess to be a star athlete, or the massive intellect to make him valedictorian of his class. Instead Dean was relegated to being just another face in the crowd.
"Did you get the program you were telling me about?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, I just started looking at it when you came in.” Jeff replied while still looking at the computer screen.
"Did you try it out yet?" Dean said as he came closer to get a better look at the computer monitor.
"No, I want to read the instructions before I do anything hasty, it'll probably be a day or two before I finally decide on what I want to do, and even then it will probably be a small transformation."
"Read the instructions!! No one reads the instructions, and besides if your going to use this thing you might as well do something interesting." Dean said, "Tell you what lets test it out on me."
"Alright but don't say I didn't warn you." Jeff sighed.
"Okay first I'll set the program so nobody but ourselves realize that you've change, then I'll set it so that you have most of the personality traits of whomever your turning into that way you'll feel compelled to act like whoever you transform into and be able to perform your new daily routine. Now tell me how long do you want to stay in you new form?" Jeff looked up at Dean.
"Well since today is Saturday, set it so that I transform back into my old self next Sunday." Dean said.
"Alright, I'll set the timer for approximately eight days, you'll be back to your old self at 8 p.m. Sunday. Now for the fun part who, or what do you want to become?"
"I want to be the captain of the football team, the star quarterback, and the most popular kid in school, and make it so that I can be a real ladies man." Dean said without hesitation, he had obviously been planning this for some time.
"Alright," Jeff said as he input all the information, "now just stand in front of the emitter, and remember you won't be able to change again until Sunday."
"Alright just do it already." Dean commanded.
Jeff, in his hurry to meet his friend request never noticed that as he scrolled down the screen he had hit the randomizer button, and did not realize it until it was to late, "Oh No!" Jeff said, "I just hit the random button."
Dean looked up as the beam hit him, "What does that mean?"
"It means your transformation is entirely random!"
"So what am I going to turn into?"
Jeff scrolled down the screen and stopped, "Well Dean the good news is that the transformation is going to interesting, the bad news is that your spending the next week as..."
