Laura puts the box down as she hears a knock at the door.
"Hey Laura! You here?" She hears the voice of her friend Kaitlin from the other side of it.
'Oh, come on! Why did she have to come over now, of all times???' Laura thought, putting the box down as inconspicuously as possible and running to get the door. She ran faster than she expected, and face-planted into it with a thud.
"Are you Ok in there?" Kaitlin asks as Laura opens the door while holding her nose in pain.
"I'm fine, Kaitlin." Laura says, glaring.
"Well that's good, because I brought dinner!" Kaitlin says as she holds up a bag labelled Luigi's Fine Italian Dining.
"Thank you, why don't we eat now?" Laura asks, gesturing to the couch and the plates she had already set out for them.
After eating a while, talk turns to work, as well as the mysterious package that had arrived earlier that day.
"What do you think is in it?" Kaitlin asks expectantly.
"I don't know, Kaitlin." Laura said, hoping her face didn't give anything away, she was a terrible liar.
"Well, it's time to start cleaning up. Why don't you do that since I got the food?" Kaitlin says, offering her plate and silverware to Laura.
"Alright. Just for you." Laura says as she takes it and her plate over to the sink. Kaitlin heads on over to the desk to get a head start on the paperwork that needed to be done.
"Hey Laura? What are these dice for?" Kaitlin asks after moving a couple sheets of paper that had fallen over them.
"Nothing. I just like them." Laura answers as she finishes the plates and put them away.
"I always liked this sort of thing, so how about a throw, just for luck? We're gonna need it to get all of this done tonight." Kaitlin said.
"NO!!! DON'T THROW THEM!!!" Laura yelled, running into the room.
"Now I'm gonna throw them just to annoy yo-" Kaitlin says playfully as Laura throws herself at her friends' arm to keep them from rolling, but they fly from Kaitlin's grip. The dice bounce once, then twice, before finally skidding to a stop about ten feet away from the two of them. They land on a four and a two.
"Thirty one years you have walked this Earth, now this number is but Twenty five, each roll of the dice shall restore more of what you have lost." The voice says, stopping the squabbling as the orbs appear once more and absorb themselves into Laura. Kaitlin is gobsmacked as she feels her friends' arms get slightly smoother and breasts get firmer.
"That's why I didn't want you to roll them, Kaitlin. Every time they are rolled, I get younger by whatever number is rolled." Laura says, tears streaming down her face.
"I-is there any way to stop it?" Kaitlin asks, letting go of Laura's arms.
"I think I have to go the address on the box." She says, slowly starting to calm down.
"0777 Restart Rd.? Really?" Kaitlin asks, looking at her friend with a quizzical look on her face. Laura nods back in response.
"Ok then." Kaitlin says, reaching for the dice.
