Jenn was no longer wearing her more stylish outfit, but rather a slightly drabber looking dress. Her hair was a bit more of a mess, and her whole body stance seemed to give off the look of someone who was much less confident. Amanda was amazed! Was this due to her sentence editing?
"Jenn!" Jenn's second in command Hailey shouted. "If you're done with that cut I need you to take out the trash!"
"Right away ma'am!" She replied sheepishly before scurrying off into the back room.
Amanda was even more shocked than before. Had she really changed reality or something? She decided to check, walking out of the break room and towards some of the other stylists.
"Hey girls... can I, ask you something?" Amanda asked sheepishly. She was still new here so she didn't want to sound like a lunatic.
"What's up hun?" Latisha asked.
"How long has, um, Jenn been here?"
"Oh ha!" Rachael laughed. "You mean that sheepish intern? I was worried you were gonna ask us something serious."
"Yeah hun don't spook us like that." Latisha chuckled.
"She's been here a year now." Hailey answered. "She may be older than us but she's still an intern. She knows how to do hair stuff but is useless in everything else! Honestly, sometimes I think she picked interning here just because the studio name happened to be the same as her name."
"Oh, sorry just wanted to know... boss." Amanda laughed before walking back to her reception desk.
