Dexter Layton sat in the conference room reading over the script in his hand.
Dex was young actor, currently 22 and struggling to make it in Hollywood. He had been acting since he was a teenager and had scored bit parts in some small time shows up till now but never had more than a small supporting role.
Currently he was auditioning for a new comedy sitcom show airing on a major network called “My three Daughters.” It was a comedy show about a single father trying to raise his three daughters of different ages. An adult in her early 20s a teenager around 17, and a kid around 11. The idea being a single dad struggling to deal with all of these girls problems and how he has no idea how to handle all of them.
Dex was auditioning for the role of “Todd.” He is the on again and off again boyfriend of the oldest daughter Madison. Madison is 21 and kind of a ditz. She is super hot and has dreams of being a model but she is kind of clueless and has no idea how to make her dreams come true and is stuck living at home and working part time as a barista.
“Todd” Is the stereotypical former Jock. A guy who was big in high school but hasn’t made it in the real world.
Dex was a traditional good looking guy who worked hard on his appearance. The roll of Todd was perfect for him and would be a major reoccurring speaking role for him and could open the door for much larger roles in the future.
“Dexter Layton.” A voice called out a the casting director stepped out seeing Dexter stand up as she invited him to come to the table read.
