"So you just sat and watched me get naked?" The embarassed cat admonished the toad "how could you...you...pervert?"
"I'm sorry!" James apologised, not being able to think of any excuse off the top of his head "I didn't think you were actually going to do it!"
"Ugh, can this day get any worse" Nicola hissed as she ran out of the room and down the stairs. James tried hopping after her but he was too small and slow to catch her, and before long found himself leaping unexpectedly into a pair of familiar hands.
"Well, that was quick, my little toad!" Elspeth smiled as she raised James up to eye level "I thought you and your friend would want to catch up a while longer."
"I, um, I think she..."
"Wasn't too happy that you watched her undress?" Elspeth finished James' sentence for him. Was she really that perceptive? Or had she been listening into their conversation somehow.
"Yeah, I can't really blame her" James admitted.
"Well, I wouldn't worry. Just let her cool off. She likes you, I can tell"
"Well, I hope so Mistress Elspeth"
The next thing Elspeth said caught James completely off guard.
"You enjoyed watching Nicola get transformed didn't you?" the witch asked knowingly. James hesitated a moment in shock. Was this woman a mind reader?
"Well, yeah I guess it was pretty hot" James admitted. There really was no point trying to decieve Elspeth.
"You know, I can turn your friend into whatever you want, whenever you want" Elspeth offered "Just say the word. I won't tell her you asked me to, I'll just say I'm testing some spells, and I'll find you a nice safe space to watch from so you don't get in trouble. "
James didn"t know how to respond. Was he being tested? Should he have some harmless fun while the opportunity was there? Or was he a bad friend for even being tempted?
"Come on, what's say we have some fun with Nicola? I promise no harm will come to her and it will just be our little secret. You trust your Mistress Elspeth don't you?"
