Superheroes
It’s a term used by those who would describe someone who’s a hero that isn’t normal. This term is often used to describe those who have powers and use them for good.
And why am I telling you this? Well, it was my dream as a kid to become a superhero. After that dream was crushed, I became a 16-year-old who decided to forget that dream.
When I got my power, I was a late bloomer. At the age of 4, when children’s brains start to evolve, I was still normal. At the age of 6 is when I gained my power. It was normal for kids to not get powers at the age of four, but kids aren’t really forgiving when they find that out.
Before I got my power, I used to pretend I was a well famous hero, and I even had my own super suit. It was my footed pj’s and a pair of underwear on the outside with a blanket for a cape. Looking back, I was embarrassed to even think that was a good hero outfit.
Now for those who don’t have a flashy ability, they tend to use it in other occupations. If you can accelerate the time plants grow and all that jazz, just become a botanist. Able to make everyone tell the truth? Become an interrogator. There are many options for those who don't have powers that work in combat.
And today, I found a job that worked with my power.
Oh? My power? Well it's kinda embarrassing to say.
