"Let's start with the good news," the doctor announces while observing the Maxwell family members' reactions. "First off, not all of you have the Monster Virus with the rest appearing to be Class-C monsters."
“What does that mean?” inquired Mike Maxwell
“Well, monsters ranked Class-D have the most minimal changes,” the doctor explains. "But you do kinda stick out when you have something like a tail or car's ears. Class C is the next level up.”
“And what is Class C?” inquired a concerned Mrs. Maxwell.
“While, being one myself," the doctor continued, "Class C monsters do change physically. But are able to remain in society and live a normal life, perhaps more a more productive one depending on their...acquired talents. But the bad news is that some of you would have to remain in the Transformation Center for observation, Mrs. Maxwell being such an example.
“I guess the question is what is my wife becoming?” inquired Mr. Maxwell
"She is becoming what we clarified as a Hecantoncheires, she would be growing a second head and a pair of arms." He presented a before and after photograph of a man, the after-photo depicting him with a second set of arms below the first and two identical heads on his shoulders.
“I have twins in my family, could this have anything to do with this?” Susan inquires.
“It is a possibility, ancestry sometimes can be a factor." The doctor answers. "While your second head will have all your memories from before the change, you might consider her more of a sister who you happen to share everything with. There have been cases where a Hecontonchieres ends up being three-headed." The doctor presents a photograph of an Asian girl around Mary's age with three heads and four arms, the head on the left taking a call while her sisters look to be having a debate over something.
