"What did Leo say?" I asked. Leo was our friend from the Supers Informatics class. He's the guy with silver hair and power over small machines. Technomancy is what they call it nowadays.
"You know him. Seen 10:54 PM. He's probably busy playing video games like us or busy whacking it off. If you know what I mean."
Of course, I know what he meant. It's literal. But for Kyle, he's still too innocent for a 15-year-old kid. Oh, the pleasure of a sheltered life under rich parents. Despite being the same age as us, Kyle is still grasping adult concepts like sexuality, relationships and in Gray's words "Whacking it off". He's getting it little by little with our pro knowledge and the wonders of the internet.
"We watched your movie collections, we ate all your snacks and we played smash all night. Is there anything in this room that would keep your dorm mates entertained for your sixteenth birthday party?"
It's still 11 PM and the night is still a bit ripe.
"How about we play around the chat roulette like last time?"
"Nahhh..." Gray said.
"I saw a guy show his pee-pee there once," Kyle said.
"So no then?"
Both of them nodded.
Then out of a sudden, Gray's face lit up. He grabbed a bottle and laid it flat on the table. I know what this is and it's surprising that Kyle knows it too. It's an old game that was probably played by my grandparents.
"This game is as old as the powers came to earth. It's 'Truth or Dare'" Gray shook his hands to give the game an entrance flair. "Since I suggested the game, I get to roll first."
He flipped the bottle and the neck spun on the plastic table. It rotated for seconds before doing an abrupt stop that pointed at me.
I hit Gray in the head. "You filthy cheat! You manipulated the bottle."
"Did I? Where's your proof?"
I grabbed a roll of a magazine and hit him with a rhythm in the head. "You're. A. Fucking. Telekinetic. Your left eye is twitching and that means you just used your powers."
His left eye closed and suddenly, an energy pulled the magazine off my hands and proceeded to hit me in my head.
"It's not my fault you didn't say that powers aren't allowed."
"Then powers aren't allowed."
"Too late. Powers aren't allowed AFTER my turn. So truth, or dare?"
"Dare," I say with no hesitation. I have many embarrassing truths and I wouldn't dare spill them in front of Gray's blabbermouth and Kyle's innocent ears.
"Then I dare you to use your powers on Kyle."
"What?" Kyle and I both say.
"You know I can't use it right?" I said.
"I know I know. For philosophical reasons Yada Yada. But we all know that's bullshit right?"
I can't blame him there. He's got a nose for bullshittery. It takes one to know one after all.
"So are you going to do it or not?"
