Laura is broadly stacking blocks while trying to formulate a plan when she sees one of the older girls heading towards her. The red-headed kindergartner looks strangely familiar and Laura tries to remember all the kids in her extended family and her coworkers children. Coming up blank she finds herself now looking up at the girl now standing right in front of her.
"Hey Laura! This might sound crazy but I'm Linda and I rolled your dice and now I'm little!"
Laura stares, her mouth hanging open before she can fully reconcile the teenage girl that just was moving her around like a doll with the girl in front of her.
"Wait the dice are bonded with you now? I didn't know that was possible."
"So you did use to be older? I knew it!"
"Yes, I'm really forty three. Now keep it quiet before someone gets suspicious."
"What? I was only eighteen and I've lost so many years of you've lost that many years what's to stop me from ending up a baby or worse?"
"Hey are you two playing nice?" Linda recoils at the voice, of the twenty something girl who know kneels down to her level. "I hope you aren't being mean because big kids should know to play nice with the little ones. Let me see that nametags. Linda, huh. I guess not knowing how to act your age comes with the name."
Once the woman departs Linda stamps her foot on the ground, "I hate Jessica! She's always been such a..a meanieface to me!" Linda clamps her hand over her mouth. Did she really just say meanieface?
Laura takes the opportunity to explain the series of events that brought her here. "So, if we can get those dice back to the shops we might be able to fix this."
"Ok let's do it. I have the dice let's find an exit."
